CHET ZAR & JEREMY WAGNER PRESENT “CONJOINED VS GROTESQUE”
January 19 - February 16, 2019
Copro Gallery presented a group art exhibit curated by artist Chet Zar and collector, author, and musician Jeremy Wagner. Titled 'CONJOINED VS. GROTESQUE,' the exhibit celebrated the Denizens of the Dark, featuring sculptures, paintings, and drawings with a focus on the dark and grotesque. The show included rock and roll art, gigantic oil paintings, bizarre and hyperreal sculptures, lifelike and life-sized models, surreal assemblages, mixed media paintings, twisted art toys, and other conjoined works.
Many of the artists in the exhibit came from the Dark Contemporary Art Movement, as well as motion picture and music industry artists, special effects technicians, and others showcasing their top-notch craft in this special jointly curated exhibition.
